Can we dim using remote control? How far apart can they be spaced.
These fittings are dimmable using the remote, the maximum spacing is 1.5m

Thanks for the reply to my previous question and the phone call was a massive help. I've purchased these but I do have 1 question. Can this be paired up with a touchscreen operating switch which has all the colours on it and can press the colour to set the room to that colour? Just think it would be a fantastic touch as my lights are for a bathroom so a remote is not ideal although I'm struggling to find a waterproof switch. Many thanks
What you ask is ultimately can this product be incorporated into a DMX controlled system, and in truth yes it can. All RGB lights have the three “live” circuits, red, green and blue. Strip the wires and connect them to a receiver and some sort of controller and they will do what is required. We will send you some details of how this might work via email. It will be a challenge but not rocket science.

What's the longest length I can have 1 of these away from the rest? I want them for my bathroom wire to existing light which I will get rid of. 9 will be in the ceiling but I want 1 in a shelf im building into the wall of the shower.
With the supplied wiring the maximum suggested distance is 1.3 metres. If you really need any heads to be located further away our best advice would be to suggest you patch in a four core flex with as large a conductor (diameter of the wire) as possible to reduce issues with voltage drop over longer distances, and doing away with as much of the original flex as possible (but keeping the plugs and sockets at each end) will also help. You will need to either solder or join with Wago clips, and be prepared to try this out before drilling holes and hoping in works when installed.

Can I buy an additional set and get the electrician to join them in the junction nobs so that they all work together i.e 20 lights on and working together off one power supply?
The inline power supply (driver) contains an AC to DC transformer and receiver for the remote control. The driver is not large enough to operate 20 lights. Your electrician would be able to fashion together a solution taking mains to two locations so two sets of ten lights can be operated from a single switch. One remote control could be used to operate both sets of lights.

Can these be installed in gravel/ornamental stones? It'll be sand then gravel/ornamental stones used for drainage. They won't be constantly submerged in water but they will sit in a drainage area.
With a rating of IP67, these fixtures can be submerged in shallow water for a period of 30 minutes.

Are these ok to install horizontally in decking / walked over. Other icon lights say only vertical installation but these don’t seem to have that limitation?
These are okay in decking, but if you dance around in stiletto heels you might want to invest in something that will take the loads imposed (over a tonne) and impact (IK10). Hope this helps.

Can you please advise what shade of white on the k scale these are when in white please? I can’t seem to find this written on your specifications.
When all on white the colour is warm white - 2700k.

I’m interested in buying this set, but I have 2 questions.... Q1, can I just link 6 direct onto switched fused spur. Q2, if the fuse spur is switched off what colour do lights go when in default setting after spur is switched back on, is it 1 fixed colour or multiple colour... thanks
You do not have to use all the heads supplied in the kit, plug as many as you need into the wiring loom supplied and connect this to the DC power supply and then wire this into the fused spur. When switched on the lights continue where they left off i.e. if they were blue when turned off, they will be blue when the power is reinstated.

How long is the cable that’s included?
The cable with the plug on it is 3000mm long, there is a 5000mm connector cable and each head is supplied with 1500mm of cable.

Is it possible to have use the kit with either 4 or 5 lights rather than all 10 or is 10 or none at all?
Yes you can use just 4 or 5. Not all 10 are needed.

is it possible to use a different remote to control the lights?
The remote supplied is the only light that will work with this 10 light kit.

what is the depth of these lights under the floor
The overall depth of the fitting is 60.2mm, We would recommend having a depth of 62 onwards.

Are these lights suitable for a bathroom floor and what are the dimensions?
This fitting is IP67 and is therefore safe to use in anywhere in the bathroom. The dimensions are as follows: Small 25mm diameter lights = 20mm cutter hole Medium 35mm diameter lights = 25mm cutter hole Large 45mm diameter lights = 32mm cutter hole

I would like to put these lights in a walk in shower around the base of the walls, approx 10mm up from floor. Are these lights suitable.
Yes, these fittings are IP67 and so are fine to be used in zones 1 of the bathroom.

Can the cables between the lights be lengthened
Unfortunately the cable length between the lights cannot be lengthened, however the cable between the power block and mains plug can be.

I am very interested in these lights but I have 2 questions. 1. Are they suitable for zone 1? My new bath will be installed under a sloped ceiling and I wanted to put these shining down onto the bath. The height of the lights will be about 1.5m hence zone 1. I think IP44 meets zone 1. 2. Is it ok to leave the power supply continuously powered and switch the lights on and off with the remote control?
Yes, Zone 1 requires IP44 or higher so these will be absolutely fine. The system is fine to be left continuously running and turned on or off by remote, this won`t cause any overheating problems etc.

Can these be fitted externally to down light by fixing into the soffit board of the roof? Do you have any photo````s of the lights working or can you give the approximate area that the LED would wash? Can you by replacement LEDs?
These can be installed as a downlight kit if required, but the installation can be quite tricky. Unfortunately we don`t have any photos of the lights when on. replacements heads can not be bought, But they do have a long lamp life.

Yes it`s possible to wire two of these into one switch

I`m thinking of fitting these lights onto my bath panel, would the remote work if the power unit was behind the panel?
The remote control works via RF (radio frequency) so the receiver does not need to be visible and can be positioned under the bath panel.

Please can you tell me if these lights will display normal white light as well as the advertised colours. Would this be the default setting from turning on at the light switch?
They will display a normal white light, as well as the advertised colours. This colour changing kit will remember which light setting it is on, You can turn them off knowing that when you turn them on, it will be as you left them. eg - If you turn the lights off on white, they will come back on as white.

Do these bulbs have to be switched on with the remote or will switching on the power supply immediately switch the bulbs on at the last setting?
Once they are switched off at the wall they will reset to the start of their program, and will not remember the colour they were on last. If you were to turn them off using the remote, Then turn back on using the remote, they would turn back on the same colour or sequence.

Can these be used in zone two of a bathroom?
Yes these LED heads are rated IP44 so are safe for use in zone.

Do you sell the power supply and remote separately? I require two kits each with 5 lights. I was thinking buying one full kit and power and remote and splitting the lights
Unfortunately these only come as a full kit, and power supply`s can not be bought separately.

What power (ie how many leds) is each unit - how does it compare with the medium 10 unit white or blue kit?
The colour changing kit is slightly brighter than the white/blue plain kits. The colour changing kit has 10 x .45w LEDs and the white/blue has 10 x .21w LEDs

What is the length of each linking light head cable?
Each head as a cable length of 1200mm.

Can these colour changing LED lights not be available with IP67 protection instead of IP44 ? Other options you supply like ````Ten Square LED Light Kit```` offer this higher water protection. I require colour changing LED lights but they are to be mounted near an overhead shower unit. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
At the moment the only colour changing lights we have like this are IP44. There is no other variations.
