Commercial light fittings need to be practical, economical and hard wearing. Cost effective commercial external wall lights provide excellent lighting and are ideal for external corridors and stairways in public buildings and commercial premises. There are a wide range of commercial fittings for you to choose from and for premises where security is a consideration, vandal resistance should also be considered. Low glare lighting should be considered in busy pedestrian areas and commercial wall lights with louvres reduce glare but also reduce the distribution of light. The finishing of commercial exterior wall lights needs to be hard wearing and durable so natural unfinished metals are often lacquered to maintain lustre and condition. Painted items are often galvanised then powder coated with polyester paint. Every light fixture here will be at least weatherproof (IP23) and many have higher IP ratings that make suitable for locations where water may be used under pressure (jet proof).
