White LED Tape Lighting | LED Strip Lights with Single Colour
White LED tape lights are a versatile choice for kitchens, living areas, joinery, retail displays and commercial interiors. This section covers our general-purpose single colour LED strips, typically with 140 LEDs per metre. These are standard spaced tapes, not close-spaced or dotless COB types, which are available in a separate category.
All the LED tapes here are supplied on 5m reels with an input lead at each end, so they can typically be cut to create two smaller lengths. Our LED tapes operate at 24V DC and are designed for indoor use. With low IP ratings they are not suitable for exterior applications unless installed within a watertight profile. Both single-row and twin-row designs are included, providing a choice from decorative accent lighting to high-brightness task and feature lighting.
These LED tapes require a 24V DC power supply and can be paired with fixed-output drivers, dimmable drivers for use with rotary wall dimmers, or remote control receivers for wireless control.

Are all LED tapes dimmable?
Yes. Every LED tape we supply can be dimmed when paired with the right driver. Options include fixed-output drivers for simple on/off use, dimmable drivers for standard rotary wall dimmers, or remote-control receivers for wireless dimming.
What is a heat sink and why might I need one?
High-output tapes, such as 14.4W/m and 19.2W/m, generate heat during operation. To ensure long-term reliability, they must be installed into an aluminium profile or mounted on a heat sink. This provides cooling and, in most cases, improves the light quality by diffusing the LEDs.
Can I cut and join LED tape?
Yes. All reels come with an input lead at each end, meaning you can often cut a reel in half and create two smaller working lengths. Tapes can be cut at marked points (typically every 50mm or 100mm), and extended using clip-on connectors or by soldering.
What colour temperatures are available?
Our white LED tapes are offered in multiple colour temperatures, from 2200K ultra warm white for soft ambient lighting through to 6000K daylight white for bright, clean illumination. Selected products include several options on one page for easy comparison.
