Modern, Stylish Ceiling Fans With Integrated Lighting
These ceiling fans have an integral lighting element. They come complete with hand held remote control to set speed and fan direction. Whilst fans are thought just to cool a room (by pushing heat up) they will also add warm to a room by reversing the blade direction and thus pushing the heat down. See our guidance notes at the bottom for which fan will work best in your space.
These ceiling fans are designed to be installed onto existing wiring or a new supply - they do not require two live feeds. This saves time and money because there is no channelling out of the wall to install a speed controller or second circuit to operate the lamp independently of the fan motor. The hand held infra-red remote control operates lighting, fan speed and a timed sleep function. All internal connections are ready wired into plug and socket making installation fast and worry free. To choose the correct fan and light for your space we would suggest the following:
- Less than 15 metre square choose a fan with a diameter (span) of 1000mm
- For a room between 15 and 20 metres square choose a fan with a diameter (span) of no less than 1000mm and up to 1320mm.
- For a room over 20 metre square choose a ceiling fan with a diameter of at least 1320mm and above.
Choosing a ceiling fan instead of air conditioning will save you money and help the environment.
