How CCT works

Controls
A dedicated CCT controller is required. Options include handheld RF remotes, wall-mounted dimmers, or smart hubs that integrate with apps and voice assistants. Most 24 V CCT tapes use a common positive and two negatives, so three-core cable is standard. Always ensure your controller’s output rating exceeds the tape load.
Power
Use a constant-voltage 24 V LED driver sized to exceed the total load, ideally with a 10–15% spare capacity. On longer runs, feed both ends or divide into shorter sections to maintain even brightness and colour.
