This mini LED light performs admirably when recessed in walls inside or out at a low level:

In staircases
We widely specify its use in staircases with deep stringers as the 42mm size is easy to incorporate into the construction and looks great when illuminating wooden, glass and even carpeted treads.

In high-gloss bathrooms and kitchens
This little light looks fabulous at low level in rooms with glass, glossy and high polished flooring and being IP65, SELV low voltage status, means it can be used in zone 1 and 2 in the bathroom.

As a low-level marker
Its subtle light accents walk-throughs in domestic and commercial environments.

LED colour is warm 3000°k with a 50 lumens output - this is not a bright light, it provides subtle low-level light to accent and enhance certain environments.

This light operates on 350Ma constant current LED drivers. The forward voltage is 3 volts.

We strongly recommend you have the light fixtures working in hand to help you decide the best location before cutting tiles or plasterboard.

A 30mm hole with a depth of at least 40mm is required. If you notch the corners of the hole with a Dremmel or diamond tile bit you can pass the Compact drivers through the hole (these being 34mm on the diagonal. Otherwise, locate the driver somewhere accessible.

The 2-core flex fitted is 20cm - this can be extended if required.

NB These lights require a 3-volt 350mA supply and must be wired in series when connecting two or more to higher capacity drivers - failing to do so will over-volt and destroy the LED.

I would like to order 8 of these Eyelid 42 step lights in white. This is for a new staircase to loft of house and lights will be adjacent to alternate treads of stair stringer. What drivers do I need to order? It says dimmable driver for 4-8 fittings does not fit through hole? Its this problematic for installer? Do I order x 2 drivers for 3-4 fittings instead? I don't have a clue about electrics. I need the fittings/ lights in 10 day ideally so short on time. Thanks!
Without being on site, we would suggest asking your electrician if they can run power from a LED driver (located remotely - in a cupboard or loft space) to the lights. Can you recommend a single driver for a total of 7 eyelid steplights placed on alternate treads of my stair stringer?Thank you.
You would need to buy 2 drivers and wire them both back to the same feed.

My wiring would require 7 @1w (1 group) or two groups of 5 or 2. Do you have a driver that will either do all 7 lights or 5 lights? also are they mains dimming or 0-10v, dali etc
We can draw upon a wide range of drivers that can operate on phase, 0-10v, Dali, push and Casambi dimming. As these lights need to be wired in series we tend to offer a few straightforward drivers that would be suit most installations.
