Extra Large LED Downlight with Dimmable GU10 Bulb - Cover Holes up to 140mm

Ideal for replacing those bright 80 watt R80 lamps - the 6 watt LED bulb offered with this downlight gives 520 lumens and most find this comparable or better. 

Have you cut the hole too big? Need to replace large old fashioned mains downlights? The quick and easy solution is to use one of the retrofit converter downlights. Available in three finishes white, polished chrome or brushed nickel.

This mains conversion kit contains a recessed downlight with an oversize bezel (150mm) suitable for easy covering a hole in your ceiling from 70mm up to 140mm in diameter.

Remove your old fitting from the ceiling and disconnect the mains supply. Connect the GU10 lamp terminal, put in your GU10 LED lamp and push up into the ceiling void. Job done. No plastering and no fuss.

Dimmable on standard phase-cut rotary wall dimmer units.

Expert Tip: If you are using a dimmer on your existing lighting and plan to re-use this on your new lights, the dimmer may not work perfectly with the reduced load. This could mean the lamps dim slightly and then switch off, or (worse case) they flicker and pulse at certain settings. Replacing the dimmer module with a premium dimmer will solve the issue. You can find suitable replacement dimmer modules here.

Each product code below contains one fitting and one dimmable LED lamp. Spare lamps can also be added to the basket if required.

Comes complete with a 6 watt LED lamp with a 36 degree angle which is a fantastic lamp giving out the same light as a 75W halogen.

Select the lamp option from the three colour temperatures, either warm white 2700°k, neutral white 4000°k or daylight white at 6000°k.  Typical lamp life 30,000 hours.
