Straight-To-Mains Oversize Adjustable Fire-Rated Downlight for GU10 Lamp
Replace 12v or R63 and R80 Downlights with Fire Rated Downlight
Product Ref: 55083
From £38.40 inc VATNow available in Polished Chrome, Satin Nickel, Matt Black and White!
If you want to remove old R63 or R80 downlights or 12-volt recessed lights one issue might be the great big hole in the ceiling. This in itself is one reason not to tackle the problem, another stumbling block might be finding a recessed downlight that meets or exceeds the requirement of new installations and building regulations.
Step in Lighting Styles with a slim, stylish low profile oversize downlight for mains GU10 bulbs.
This downlight can cover holes from 75 to 125mm with ease (and larger holes with the addition of some building adhesive). It is also adjustable, giving a tilt of up to 20°, acoustic & fire rated for 30, 60 and 90 minutes and is easy to install with a screw-free Wago style terminal block.
This listing now offers the original matt white, matt black, satin nickel and polished chrome. The white version can be over-painted if that suits your space/style.
Add our Pro HD lamps for a top-notch installation or use a budget lamp for spaces that do not matter as much.
Bulbs can be changed without removing them from the ceiling - the centre part unscrews and drops down.
A clip on cover is available that makes the fixture suitable for use under rolls of insulation quilt - see below.
Note: the terminal block does not have to be installed on top if you have a shallow void or services above the hole.

The description for these lights say they work on a cut out of 75 to 125mm - but the other parts say cut out 125. Are they for variable cut outs or only 125mm exactly please? Also who are the lights made by - is there an instruction manual please? Thanks |
