This slimline, brushed aluminium style, under cabinet lighting system is neat, really neat. The lights have a low profile so are well suited for use under modern kitchen wall cabinets that do not have a pelmet to the underside.

This light is CCT switchable which allows changing of the colour temperature via a discreet switch on the side. Each light provides around 180 lumens of light supplementing the ambient light in the room and removing shadows in your work area. Suggesting spacing is around 50cm but the 120° wide beam angle means spacing further apart still works well.

Installation is made easy: remove the light cover, screw the rear housing into your mounting surface, and replace the cover. Each light has two leads; one in and one out making it easy to daisy chain your installation without having to wire each light back to the LED driver.

These lights have low running costs and give a long operating life of an average of 35,000 hours.

The type of driver you need depends on how you want to control your lights. The options are:

1 – Standard On/Off or Sensor Control
Choose this option if you only want to switch your lights on and off from a wall switch. You can also add local controls such as hand-swipe sensors, cupboard door switches, or movement sensors. These give extra convenience, for example automatic lighting when you open a cupboard or gesture control to dim the lights.

2 – Dimmable with a Wall Rotary Switch
Choose this option if you want to dim your lights using a household rotary dimmer switch. The dimmer must be compatible with leading edge or trailing edge technology, as not all phase-cut or TRIAC dimmers will work.

Lastly, do not forget to match the load to the power supply. These lights are 3 watts - multiply 3 watts by the quantity to get the total load.

We need to install these under a run of kitchen cabinets - 6 warm white lights in total - we will require the 15w power supply. Regarding the power supply - mentions 6 ports - one for each light, is there just one wire from the power supply to the first light and daisy chain loop to each light? Yes, each light has two wires. There is one wire from the power supply to the first light and then you can daisy chain loop the rest. We will send you an email with installation instructions.

Can I put a 3pin plug on these, so I can choose whether to put the lights on or not.
The lead providing power to the LED driver can be connected to the lighting circuit, a fused spur, or a UK 3-pin plug.

Hi - I want to buy 2 of these lights. Can you confirm which dc power supply I need for 2 lights (I assume the 6w one) and also recommend a suitable dimmable driver? Thanks
For straightforward switching the 6 watt driver is ideal. These light operate on a 24v DC supply. If you wish to operate dimming via a dimming wall switch you will need to use a dimmable 24v power supply suitable for a 5 or 6 watt load. If you wish to control the light intensity locally (by a touch switch or wave) you can use a dimmer that operates on the low voltage side of the driver like this.

What is the cable width?
The cable width (there are two together) is 4mm width, with a 1.5mm depth.

What is the cable length for each light?
It is 1500mm.

I need 4 of these lights and two separate drivers, but I am unsure on which driver to get. Can you help?
Each light is 2.5 watts, so you need to multiply that by the amount you plan to have on each driver. If you have 2 lights on each driver, that would equate to 5 watts each. So the two of the 6 watt driver would suffice.
