A two-part adjustable spotlight for use on tension wire lighting system. The front of the lamp sits in a baffle that reduces both 'rim spill' and glare, making this great for domestic environments and equally good for lighting artwork.

Thermally tested for extended use with halogen lamps up to 50 watts, but also accommodates most if not all Gx5.3 base 12 volt LED lamp (including those with a longer body)

Offered here in polished chrome and black or white polyester paint finishes.

Adjustable, Offers 350º rotation and 90º tilt. This allows you to direct the light exactly where you need and require it.

The distance between the cables under tension should be around 155mm centres for this fitting.

How close together should these lamps be positioned, please?
The two wires under tension should around 155mm centres. If you are asking how close should the spots be, that is called commissioning and you, just like a lighting designer, are free to play around, with spacing to suit the object you wish to illuminate and the distance the lighting is from that object or space.

Is it possible to add hanging pendants to the suggested tension wire tracking ....if the 4 spotlights are not enough? Am I able to add ANY pendant?
Product ref 51703 allows you to add a pendant, but the weight of the pendant must not exceed 0.5kg.

What IP rating is this spot?
This tension wire spot head is IP20.

Would these fittings take LED lamps?
Yes the 12v Philips perfect fit lamp will work on this system. But be sure to match the load to the minimum load of the transformer - call us if unsure.

I have exisitng, installed tension wire lighting but would like to replace the lights with WIM181080. Could you advise if all these systems are the same width in terms of the distance between each of the wires?
Systems may vary in width. This fitting is made for systems with wires spaced by 115mm.
