This small recessed niche light is the ideal choice for compact spaces requiring subtle yet impactful illumination. With a shallow profile and a selection of round or square shapes, it seamlessly integrates into bathroom niches, alcoves, or architectural recesses. Finished in polished chrome or stainless steel, the light complements modern bathroom designs while delivering practical functionality.
Usage
Designed specifically for bathroom use, this IP65 and SELV-rated light is safe for zones 1 and 2, making it ideal for areas like shower spaces or above bathtubs. It is perfect for enhancing alcoves, bathroom shelving, or architectural features with gentle, focused illumination.
The asymmetric round version offers a directional beam, ideal for highlighting specific areas or decorative features. Its angled light output adds a layer of precision, allowing you to focus on key elements like shelving, artwork, or toiletries, creating an elegant and personalised lighting effect.
Key Features
Fitted with an integral 1W high-power LED, this light emits a warm white 3000K glow with a wide 120º beam angle. The asymmetric option directs light at an angle for targeted illumination, while standard versions provide even, diffuse lighting. Its energy-efficient design ensures excellent performance while maintaining low power consumption.
Each fitting requires a 350mA constant current driver, with compact driver options that fit easily through the installation hole. A 30cm two-core flex is provided and can be extended to meet project requirements.
What Is a Niche Light?
Niche lights are recessed fixtures designed to illuminate shallow architectural recesses. Perfect for bathrooms, they provide subtle, accent lighting that highlights alcoves, shelving, or decorative elements, adding depth and sophistication to the space. The asymmetric design further enhances flexibility by offering directional illumination tailored to your needs.
NB These lights require a 3-volt 350mA supply and must be wired in series when connecting two or more to higher capacity drivers - failing to do so will overvolt and destroy the LED.
Please ensure you order the correct driver for the appropriate number of fittings - Listed below.

I have a led light that has stopped working as part of 3 series led spots. It’s the same size as this. Can you send me a picture of the connection to the main light unit so I can confirm it is compatible before I order. |
Is this available in 2700K? |
Can i check the recess depth on these please.
Dimensions would suggest 13mm?? |
Hi, can you advise how the lights are fixed into the hole above - do they have clips and, if so, what’s the maximum thickness of material they’ll clip into and the total width that the clips occupy? |
From the light how long is the cable that goes to the driver? If they’re quite short are you able to extend them? Also does the driver connect direct to lighting circuit or via 3 pin plug? |
Are these lights designed to be wired in a series or parallel circuit |
Our niche is immediately below a main beam, allowing only limited height. Whilst we can lower the niche height we want to minimise this - keeping the niche as large as possible. What is the minimum depth you'd suggest we need? |
Can you tell me what the voltage is and how big is the recess? |
I’m looking to purchase 2 x anti glare. What do I need to purchase as well. Also looking to place another 2 To put in a plinth, are these suitable? |
As these tiny spots do not have a driver attached, where would the driver be placed? I assume it needs to be accessible, but if it cannot fit through the hole of the spot where is the most common place to put the driver? |
I want to put three of these on a PIR sensor - is this possible? |
What is the length of the wire attached? Are they suitable for bathroom zone 1? |
I would like this light fitted into my new wetroom. How does electrician install them? What wiring will I need to ask for? |
I WANT TO FIT ONE OF YOUR LIGHTS ( REF 41139 ) IN A NICHE IN MY NEW BATHROOM , OBVIOUSLY THE UNIT FITS BY PUSHING IT INTO THE HOLE IN THE TILE , HOW EASY IS IT TO REMOVE IT IF I EVER NEEDED TO. |
I have a 500 mm wide x 1400 mm high x 300 mm deep alcove in a small bathroom. Can you suggest a suitable light to make it a bit of a feature? |
