Rise and Fall Metal Scandi Style Pendant

Other than the lead and string, are all components made of steel particularly the cups at the top and bottom of the curly lead? If not, what material are they made of. Many thanks.

The shade cannot be detached and reattached to another fitting.

How do I mount the ceiling rose to the ceiling?
Like many light fixture made in Europe this fixture uses a ceiling hook (cup hook). Screw this into the ceiling (use a spring toggle style if there is no timber support behind) and hang the light from this.

I like these pendants and I would like to buy two for the lounge. The specification does not indicate the minimum height despite it being adjustable. Can I use it as a ceiling light and not for the dining table?
Yes, it can be used as a ceiling light. We have specified/shown it as a dining table light as this is where most people tend to install them because the fitting can be adjusted in-situ to provide excellent over table lighting. There is no reason why it cannot be installed in a living space. The maximum height is 110cm, while the minimum drop is 56cm.

Would you ship to New York City?
We can ship certain items to the USA, however this fitting only works on 230/240v.

Is this light and the one with a handle that is in 12 colours wired for the USA?
This light is wired and designed for 230v.

Can this be fitted and operated on a sloping ceiling?
Unfortunately we would not recommend installing this on a sloping ceiling as the mechanism would not work correctly.

How do you pull it down?
The fitting is tensioned on installation to desired height then the shade can be used to higher or lower by pushing / pulling it.
