PIR Switch Plate - Replaces Standard Wall Light Switch

This piece of equipment can automate the lighting in your space to save energy and ensure that the lights are on when they need to be on.

A PIR sensor looks out for movement when detected and the lights are switched on.

How long the lights stay is adjustable
From 10 seconds to 7 minutes

The ambient light level is adjustable
You can choose whether you want the lights to operate - 3 to 2000 lux - all the time, when it starts to get dark, or when it is nighttime.

The housing is similar to a MK grid design and suits UK and European wall sockets. Most electricians will be used to this but it can be confusing for DIYers. Adjustment of time and lux is under the cover plate. Once set the front of the module is pushed on and clicks into place. The switch to select between ON/OFF/PIR is at the front.

The detection range is up to 9 metres.

The maximum load is 200 watts. Suitable for LED lamps. The wiring at your switch will require a neutral - if in doubt consult an electrician. 

Only for use inside.

Tip - the metal tines/prongs on either side can be removed when installing in UK back-boxes - they will get in the way of the fixing screws.
