Although smaller in size, this unit still provides some great features. Under the cover are two dials - one to set the light level and one to set the duration over which the lights will operate.

However on the side of the unit is a micro switch which allows the user to manually set the light level at which the units switches the light on. So the light level can be customised to suit your needs without removing the cover. Perfect automated solution to turn lights on at dusk and off after a preselected time period of 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours.

Can I use this switch to replace a standard indoor light switch? I only have two wires and an earth going to the switch. Will this control an 8W LED bulb? Would the switch also work with an old-fashioned incandescent bulb?
Based on your description, it appears that your current wall switch has only a live and switched live wire, with no neutral wire present. Since this product requires a neutral connection to function, we recommend running a neutral wire from the lighting circuit to the switch if feasible. As for loads, yes, this will switch any loads with both resistive (tungsten) and inductive (LED) loads.

Will this unit work will all bi-pin led lamps and is there a manual on/off switch?
This will work with all standard lamps - it be wired in the same way a standard switch would be. There is no manual on/off switch.

Will this work on 110 volt US systems? Do you have a 110 volt version of this product?
Unfortunately not, this would not work on the US voltage and we do not sell a version that does.

Will this work (switch on and off) with a 5w LED light, or do I need more wattage for it to work?
There is no minimum load on this sensor, 1 x 5w should work fine.

Can you tell me if the colour is white or Grey?
This switch is white.

Does the sensor go between the mains switch and the low voltage transformer or does it have to go after the transformer?
The sensor requires 230/240. So wire the sensor to your mains and the transformer to the sensor.

Can I use this to operate 4 led up down lights at the same time , l prefer this to the one with the dawn to dusk sensor, because with this one my up down lights won't knock off if my other security lights come on, thank you.

Can l use this to connect 4 up down led lights , l prefer this to the dawn to dusk sensor one, because l don't want my security lights knocking dawn to sensor off and on.
