A remote photocell designed for permanent connection to fixed wiring. Wall bracket will accept 20mm conduit and fittings or plain cable entry.

Class 2 with 3 wiring terminals (Live, Neutral and Live Load).

Maximum loads 1000w resistive (incandescent) or 300w inductive (i.e. LED).

Low light sensor is switchable from 10-50 lux.

Does this sensor detect motion to switch on? E.g. a PIR sensor.
No this just turns your lights on when it gets dark and switched them off in the morning. Search for remote PIR to see PIR movement sensors that also include a photocell.

Can this be used with LED lamps ?
Yes.

From this unit to my light what wires go where?
Make connections to the electrical supply in accordance with the following: Connect the live wire from the photocell to the incoming live supply (L). Connect the incoming neutral supply to the light/load neutral terminal (N). (LO) Load Live, connect to the live terminal on the light/load. Please be advised this fitting is double insulated, do not connect any part to an earth. Please note install the photocell product away from the fitting, otherwise the photocell product will be effected by the light from the fitting.

What is the difference visually between the two models? Are either or both metallic silver finish?
Both models are a black finish.

Is the dome removable to allow modification of the circuitry inside?
This dome can be removed with force, but is not recommended. By doing this your warranty will also no longer be valid.

I have an out door lantern with a low energy bulb in it. Can this be added to that unit?
Inductive loads at low wattage can make some equipment display odd behavior. We tested this unit on two manufacturers low energy lamps and it appeared to function without issue. So we`re pretty certain you`ll not encounter any issues.
