This round bulkhead light features a traditional eyelid front that directs light downwards, offering a nod to classic maritime fittings while providing focused, glare-free illumination. The ribbed prismatic glass diffuser softens the output, producing a radial light pattern that is both functional and atmospheric. The body and eyelid are made entirely from solid brass and finished in either raw brass, antique brass, or satin nickel. The antique option is chemically aged to develop a darker patina, while the satin nickel is plated for a clean, modern appearance.

Usage
Rated IP64, this light is suitable for exposed exterior settings including garden walls, porches, and patios. The downward light distribution also makes it effective for low-level lighting along paths, steps, and entranceways. Indoors, it can be used in bathrooms, utility spaces, or anywhere a durable, damp-rated fitting is required. Its solid brass construction and classic styling make it a versatile choice for both traditional and industrial settings.

Key Features
The eyelid fitting is built from solid brass and secured with three hand-fastened butterfly bolts for easy lamp access. The prismatic glass diffuser is protected by the eyelid, which helps reduce glare while creating a distinctive light pattern below. The light is supplied with a side-entry compression gland as standard. If rear cable entry is preferred, the back can be drilled and the gland removed, with a blanking plate supplied to maintain the IP rating. A brass adaptor is available to allow 20mm conduit to terminate directly at the fitting. Rated IP64, this light offers increased protection from dust and water ingress.

Designed for use with E27 base lamps up to 60 watts. LED lamps are recommended for energy efficiency and longer life.
