The wire loop support system solves a very common problem. When using a long tension wire system you require more support than the initial ceiling rods, this usually means using an additional ceiling rod in the middle of the system. But what if you have an apex or sloping ceiling? The first problem is the longest ceiling rods are around 20mm, the second is adapting your ceiling so the ceiling rods sit vertically. This handy product will hang vertically on a sloped ceiling. This will help your system not sag!

Supplied with a 2000mm length of wire which can be shortened at the time of installation if a shorter length is required.

The cables under tension should be around 155mm centres for this.

I have a 6m long room with a sloped ceiling and this product is perfect for me, however can you please email me back the recommended distances between each support please. Note I'm deaf so please email me as tge phone is useless for me. Thanks for your understanding.
You could probably get away with just require one of these over a 6m span as along as you are not planning on loading the wire with multiple spot lights.

When installing tension wire, how long can the tension wire be before these supports are required/recommended?
There are several things to consider, the weight of the lights hung on the wires and the quantity. Using 6 lightweight (skeletal) spots a 5 metre run without any additional supports is easily achievable. Whereas with heavier fixtures you might have supports at 3 metres. In addition, pulling the cable as tight as possible before drawing it under tension with the end fixing can make a lot of difference.

Is the support wire does available in black? The picture shows the black tension rod supported with a chrome wire. I’m looking for the whole thing in black.
We are unable to offer all the components in black. The braided wire is stainless steel, this and any chrome parts can easily be spray painted with a satin black aerosol rattle can.
