Can I use these lights to replace my old Par38 downlights. Is the light source replaceable
As this light will cover pretty much any size hole it’ll be a match for your PAR38 but you can forget about replacing the LEDs inside as they’re going to last for 30,000hours minimum, so you can sell you ladder and do something less boring instead.

Can these be changed over with the standard hanging light home fixtures? I confirm there is a void in the ceiling.
If you are asking do they use the same wiring as an existing fitting, then yes potentially. These fittings are class 2 and therefore use just 2 wires, a live and a neutral wire. Therefore it depends on your existing wiring.
