Constructed from aluminium, this reading light has more features and benefits than your average bedside light. The fitting is semi-recessed into the wall or headboard cavity (this could be custom fit for hotels for example) to create a nice, neat bedside light. The LED spot sits snugly inside and can be pulled out and directed to where light is required. Ideal for reading, providing a directional light which will not disturb a sleeping partner.

Comes with a USB charging port so you can charge your phone or device whilst you sleep.

The arm has a movement of 90 degree up and down and 180 degrees left and right. There is also an automatic on/off switch - pushing the light back into place turns it off as the switch is directly behind the spot light arm. Soft diffused warm white light provided by the 3.2 watt LED lamp, 2700k, 137 lumen.

The four finishes available are white, black, matte gold and satin nickel.

Comes with a 5 year guarantee.

Cutout required to install the light is 150mm x 60mm - check carefully and only make your aperture when you have the fixture and instruction sheet to hand.

Can these be installed on to a solid brick wall
These are designed for plasterboard walls, 2 cut outs are required. See PDF under the specifications tab for more information.

Can you tell me the depth of these?

When the lamp is closed, is there an 'orientation' light? I currently have another model with a continuous blue light in the gap between the push side and the light side which I don't like.
When the fitting is closed there is no light. The only time the light is on is when the fitting is out.

What happens if the bulb eventually goes out? It’s non-replaceable.
The LED lamp on average will last over 50,000 hours after this time the fitting will need replacing as the LED is not replaceable. It is unlikely that you will reach the end of the fittings life. The LED also comes with a 3 year guarantee.

Hello can these be used in the USA?
Yes. The driver integrated into the fixture is designed all voltages.

If the LED is not replaceable, then what happens when it finally goes out? Does one have to replace the entire unit?
The LED lamp which is included in this fitting has a very long lamp life, This reading light would not be on as much as other lights, as you would only use at night when reading etc. this would help towards the lamps life. The fitting would need replacing when the LED did finally fail. Changing to a different fitting is easy.

Can these lights be installed vertically?
This fitting is designed to be installed horizontally, and have not been tested to be installed vertically.

Can we order bedside reading light in black colour?
This bedside reading light unfortunately is not available in a Black finish. The finishes available are Bronze, Chrome and Matt Nickel.

Has this light been tested and approved by Underwriter Laboratories (UL) for use and installation in the United States?
Although these are suitable to work in America, these are only CE marked and not UL listed.

How long will a "long life LED lamp" last and what happens when it no longer works if it's not replaceable?
The LED lamp on average will last over 50000 hours. The LED is not replaceable, but does come with a 3 year guarantee.

I am considering using these flush bedside LED lights in a 5 bed house I am working on. Is there a negative to the lights ? A reason for them on sale ? A better products you may sell ??
We always try to give a good deal and we are matching a competitors price. The only negative thing is the installation - you need to recess these type of fixtures into a plasterboard wall which is harder than just screwing a fixture onto the wall. We are sure you will be happy with this product.

This fitting is okay to use in Australia.

Hi, The product shows a LED Driver. Doe this LED driver has to be installed remotely or is it part of the fixture? If it has to be installed remotely: (1) what is the size? (2) how fare of the fixture can the driver be installed? (3) what is the load type of the driver? Meaning is it dimmable?
The driver is built into this fitting, So only a mains connection is required. The built in driver is not dimmable.
