I thinking of putting this light into a well under a 40mm glass cover it is vented and would never get wet, I’m only worried that the remote won’t work if the light faces down and is covered by the glass.
The system is radio frequency controlled. You do not need a line of sight to operate.

The add for this item states the remote control reaches up to 30mtrs. I have approx 30 meters to reach. Do you think this would be ok?
It should work, however, if there is any interference it may not reach the full range. If you have multiple lights, it should not be a problem due to the relay.
