You may use the larger track connector to provide electrical feed to the track. Ideal if the incoming mains is not near the end of the track.

I have in my basket 1 x 1m and 1 x 2m satin nickel voltage tracks and 9 x brushed chrome spot lights. I would be grateful if you can advise if I need to buy connectors and if 'yes' which one ('feed in' or 'in line'). And do I need to buy 'dead ends'. Lastly, do I need to buy any 'track power feed in'? NB: There will be one power feed in.
Basic mains track length come complete with a feed-in and an end cap (dead end). If you are joining two tracks to make a 3 metre run you will need a connector. If you wish to power the whole track from one end use an inline connector (no feed in). If you wish to power the track from a point midway between the two lengths of track the connector needs to have a feed-in. The feed-in connector is slightly longer and has screw terminals inside for your incoming mains. You are welcome to to put a note on your order for us to check the parts you need to avoid problems. I'd like my power feed to be in the middle of a straight lighting track but the power feed connector is only one sided. Do you have a double sided track power feed?
