60va 12v Electronic Transformer with Tails - Auto Reset
Two Year Guarantee
Product Ref: 1006£3.79 inc VAT
Transformer for low voltage lighting (12v). So, what do we mean by resettable? Well, if this transformer trips out through overheating it will automatically reset it self after a 45 second period.
If the transformer did not have a auto reset you would have to switch off the power to get it working again.
Is this a major feature? Well, no not really if the transformer does trip out through overheating you should endeavour to move it or ensure it is not covered with insulation.
So ignoring the resettable aspect, is this transformer any good? Yes it is! Plus it has a 2 year guarantee.
Runs lamps at 11.6v to ensure long lamp life.
Easily fits through hole made for any recessed downlight.

Can this run a 7w LED MR16 bulb? if so how many would I need to run 12 x 7w?
I'd like 10 12Vac bulbs, how many of these units would you recommend? I plan to use 35W bulbs... Also is this setup more efficient that having a 230Vac 50W unit once you take into account the bulb and the transformer?
I wish to run 6 off 5 watt led downlighters from this transformer, will it be satisfactory?
I wish to power a small circuit of 3 - 35 watt x 12volt low voltage bulbs. Is it best to buy just a 105 watt transformer or a slightly larger capacity 150watt transformer?
How many lamps can run off one transformer?
