If the transformer did not have a auto reset you would have to switch off the power to get it working again.

Can this run a 7w LED MR16 bulb? if so how many would I need to run 12 x 7w?
There is no reason why this transformer can not power 12v LED lamps. But you have to match the load to the transformer i.e. ensure the minimum load is over 20 watts. Technically to power twelve 7w LED lamps you would only require two transformers but the length of the wiring may affect the performance so if the lamps are widely spaced we would suggest perhaps four transformers might be the way to go.

I'd like 10 12Vac bulbs, how many of these units would you recommend? I plan to use 35W bulbs... Also is this setup more efficient that having a 230Vac 50W unit once you take into account the bulb and the transformer?
A 60va transformer can run 1x 35w or 1x 50w lamp. This is more efficient than a mains system as it takes your 230v and takes it down to 12v. If you plan to have 10 fittings you would need 10 transformers.

I wish to run 6 off 5 watt led downlighters from this transformer, will it be satisfactory?
This transformer provides 12v AC power. As we don`t know what LED lamps you are using we can`t be sure (some require a 12v DC supply). Another factor is the length of your cable runs; anything over a metre and this unit will struggle. So try it. If it doesn`t work buy a dedicated 12v DC LED power supply (also called a driver)

I wish to power a small circuit of 3 - 35 watt x 12volt low voltage bulbs. Is it best to buy just a 105 watt transformer or a slightly larger capacity 150watt transformer?
No there is no need to have extra capacity unless you feel you may add another 35w lamp in the future.
