Comes complete with a 3-year warranty excluding the finish which is brass and unlacquered, a natural patination and mottling will occur, if you wish to keep a bright shiny surface the bezel should be rinsed and polished to maintain the original finish.

If untreated the surface will oxidise like any other exposed metal in a seaside location.
