When you have a ceiling cable point which is not where you want it and you require decent lighting it is hard to find a solution. With these pendants they allow you to install the ceiling plate in one place and then have the pendants offset to where you require. This allows versatility in your lighting installation and stops the issue of having to move the cable entry point on the ceiling. The cable has a maximum length of 3500mm which can be adjusted to suit your needs at time of installation. The ceiling fixings to offset the pendants come supplied.

I would like to use these pendants as "spotlights" as unfortunately I do not have the ceiling height to let them hang low. How close can I keep them to the ceiling?
As the source of light is LED there is very little heat generated so they can go as close to the ceiling as you would like. In addition the length of each flex can be reduced to suit your layout.

Which dimmable LED driver do I need for the 6 light pendant?
The Driver is already built in to this fitting, you would require a standard dimmer switch to use for this fitting.

What wattage are the bulbs? And what is the equivalent wattage to an old type bulb.
The integrated LED's are roughly 8 watts per LED which is a rough equivalent to 80w old type bulb.
