Japanese Shoji Style Freestanding Patio Light

I want to ask if this light could be put outdoor during heavy rainy days? I understand it has protection against the splash of water. But just want to double check if everything works well with lights on? And with the guarantee, how should we be in touch if something goes wrong?
The lamp is covered by a piece of glass which stops it being splashed by rain etc however the fabric on the outer frame might not be so good in heavy rain. We would always suggest as much as you are able to take this inside when heavy rain is expected. It would be fine for the light shower but we wouldn't recommend leaving outside over winter for example. You would be able to contact us via phone or email if you had an issue which had unduly affected how it functions.

Where is the mains attached? this isn't visible from the picture. Is it a cord with plug? If it can be used outdoors, I assume it is okay for a bathroom, if we can fit the electrics? I am just renovating the bathroom. ( I am interested both for possible use in the bathroom and for possible use outdoors, but need to understand how the electricity is fitted.
The lamp comes corded with a 3 pin plug, unfortunately this would not be suitable for a bathroom as you would need to plug it into a 240v socket.

Does this product need to be wired to work? also, in case of rain will it be ok?
Yes, the fitting needs a mains connection to work. It is IP44 rated, so has protection against splashes of water in all directions.

We are looking for a bespoke lamp and wondered if this was an option using this lamp? Would it be possible to have a sample of each of the lamps to see if they would be suitable?
