Surface Mounted Downlight IP65 Rated Specifically Crafted for Wetrooms and Bathrooms

Are these lights fire rated?
No fire rating is required. These lights are surface mounted, no hole is cut into ceiling. No hole means no loss of fire integrity in fire rated ceilings and fire compartments.

Our wire is coming centrally out of a circular rose. Is your hole for the wire in the middle of the fixture?
The cable entry point is not in the centre, slightly towards the outer edge.

Will this fitting work and be controlled/dimmed with Loxone home control systems please?
The fixture isn’t the concern, the lamp you use needs to dim on your control system, the dimmable lamps we suggest would work.

I will be using them on an outside balcony near the sea- is this suitable for that application? What type of metal is the light made of?
This product would not be suited for that environment. We have a collection of lights specifically designed for coastal areas under our external lighting category.

what is the lumens output of the light?
It all depends on what GU10 lamp is used. If you use the lamp we suggest the lumen output would be 520.

Can I fit a LIFX or Hue smart bulb inside?
We have a Hue lamp here and having tested this, unfortunately, it does not fit. Please call us for advice on which fittings can fit a Hue lamp.

How many would be required - e.g. for a small WC room - would one suffice?
If using a 6 watt LED (equivalent to 60 watt halogen) then this will suffice in small WC.

Would this be suitable to mount on the floor as an up lighter in a bathroom
In theory, there is no reason why they cannot be placed on the floor, though they are intended as a downlight.

What are the measurements?
This fitting measures 80mm in diameter and projects 80mm from the ceiling.

Does this light have a seperate Driver and what type 350 m/a or 700 m/a?
This is a mains fitting, no transformer or driver is required. This can be dimmed on any mains dimmer. Just nake sure you use dimmable LED lamps.

Is it essential to use an LED? The one circuit in this bathroom has different luminaires, different lamps, and one dimmer switch! I was hoping to avoid dimming issues by using eco halogen in this room instead of LEDs or a mix of LEDs and non-LED..
This fitting has been designed to only be used with energy saving, Low heat LED lamps. With the max wattage being 10. Unfortunately halogen lamps can not be used with this fitting.
