The wall plate incorporates LEDs which give a soft reflected ambient light, while the front features a fully adjustable LED reading lamp.

Offered here with a choice of a single switch or a dual switch (offering independent operation of reading light and back light).

Does this light require a mains switch? I mean should we have a wall switch to control the halo and a single switch option to control the reading light? Does the double switch option mean one switch each and does the single switch mean both lights (halo and reading? come on with one button.
This requires 1 mains wire, On one switch. The double allows you to independently turn the main and reading light on and off. single does them both.
