Are these suitable for use in a bathroom?
We would normally recommend fittings in the bathroom to be rated IP44 or higher. We would suggest checking with your electrician and where you want the fitting to be installed.

I am confused with what bulbs are required? Would two LEDs be sufficient? Or do I require anything else to make it work?
You can use two LED GU10 lamps in this fitting with no other equipment required.

Can I use LED lamps instead of halogen. If yes then do I need a separate driver for LEDs.
This fixture can use any lamp with a GU10 base. In the listing under specification we have provided links to GU10 halogen and GU10 dimmable/non dimmable LED lamps. No driver is required - just a mains supply.

Can these lights be painted with emulsion?
These can be painted if using a good quality emulsion paint.

How far does this light shine, ie the beam length? And also, do the up and downlight ends have a glass bottom and top or can you see the light from below and above?
This wall light uses two GU10 base mains halogen lamps. The beam angle of these lamps is typically 40º and the light output is bright enough to illuminate wall and ceiling. Lower wattage lamps are available. The bottom and top are open with no glass.
