As this is an LED light, can the 'bulb' be replaced? Or is there a transformer which would need to be replaced? How often would that need to happen?
The LEDs would be expected to last 25-35,000 hours before their light output drops to 50% of the original. That's around 15 years when used for four hours a day. The item likely to fail first is the driver, thankfully these are located in the ceiling plate and are easy to replace.

What is the shortest suspension you could have on these lights?
The minimum suspension on the small is 420mm, and the minimum on the large is 520mm.
