Recessed Groundlight for Mains GU10 Lamps - Stainless Steel

Hello, Is it possible to install these recessed groundlights before screeding the floor? We are considering using these for a new build but I wanted to know how this might be possible before the floor is screeded. Thank you. Amy
Yes, I dont see why not. They come with a mounting pot which could be installed first, with fitting being installed after a the screed has set. You will need to liaise with the specific installers on site.

Are the wiring terminations accessible so longer cables can be fitted ?
Yes, should you wish to use a longer flex you can whip out the one fitted and replace this with one that suits your installation.

Are these lights adjustable?
These lights cannot be adjusted.

What is the beam angle/spread?
The beam angle depends on which bulb use, but it is hard to say for certain as the bulb is slightly below the surface of the glass - so the beam angle is slightly narrower as a result.

Do you have this in 65mm diameter, please?
The only variant of this fitting available is 102mm in diameter.

Are these lamps safe to recess inside a wood floor, assuming an LED bulb is used? Can the beam angle be adjusted, so the light can be projected onto a wall?
These ground lights are 'F-marked' so safe for use in flammable materials including wood. You must use LED lamps to avoid the issue of bare feet on hot glass. This particular product is fixed. In order to accommodate adjustability the size of the fixture has to be bigger - This one is adjustable.

Can these be installed horiztonally in a wall?
Yes, if you fix the plastic mounting pot in place the fixture will screw into this and stay in place when used on a vertical surface.

Can this type of light be used for insertion into a concrete wall - i.e. no air circulation around/behind the light as it is just put in a hole dug in a deep concrete wall?
Yes, this would be suitable.

Can you tell me what the diameter of this fitting is that sits on top of the ground? I can see the cut out is 97mm but not clear what the overhang is?
The overall Diameter is 102mm.

can I change by self fitting from GU-10 on MR-16?
The lamp holder in this fitting is a GU10 base, It can not be changed to a MR16.
