Product Overview
This product is designed as a genuine problem solver for anyone wanting clean, uncluttered ceilings. It offers full multi-sensor capability without the need for separate PIR units, allowing several fittings on one circuit to work together. When any sensor detects movement, all linked lights come on. This makes it ideal for corridors, staircases, landings and long runs where movement may occur at either end. The approach eliminates the need for wall mounted detectors or ceiling clutter, giving a crisp, streamlined finish.

How the Linking Works
There is no smart networking or digital communication between these fittings. They work together purely through the electrical circuit. When only one sensor downlight is used, it can operate a run of standard downlights by sharing its switched output through a simple three-core flex. The sensor controls the circuit and the other fittings follow it.

If two or more sensor downlights are required on the same run, they can be linked in a similar way using three-core and earth cable. This arrangement is comparable to wiring a traditional two-way switching circuit, where each sensor has the ability to bring the entire run of lights on when it detects movement. All sensors act equally, and whichever one sees activity will operate the whole circuit.

The ability to switch secondary loads up to 200 watts allows the sensor to control other fittings or circuits, adding further flexibility for more complex layouts.

Installation and Design
The fitting is recessed and fire rated for 30, 60 and 90 minutes. It suits a 70 millimetre cutout and requires only 34 millimetres of void space, including plasterboard. It is safe for use under insulation, making it suitable for a wide range of ceiling constructions. A loop in, loop out Wago style connector with a quick release plug simplifies wiring. The product is supplied without a bezel so the preferred finish can be added separately. Magnetic bezels in white or matt black attach securely and lift away easily when decorating or adjusting the PIR settings.

Performance
The integrated 7 watt LED provides between 550 and 700 lumens with an 80 CRI rating and a 60 degree beam angle for general illumination. Leading edge and trailing edge dimming are supported when required. The IP65 construction allows installation in bathrooms and other damp environments while maintaining the same clean aesthetic.

Setting and Adjusting the Features
Removing the decorative magnetic bezel gives access to the controls without removing the downlight from the ceiling. A switch allows the choice of colour temperature from four options at 2700, 3000, 4000 or 6000 Kelvin. Three dials provide adjustments for the movement sensor, covering time delay, sensitivity and lux level, allowing the fitting to be tuned to the space and the way it is used. An eight hour override mode is available and can be activated through a simple switch sequence when continuous illumination is required.
