The reflector lamp has been around for a number of years and is still often used for spotlighting when a broader, softer spread of light is required.

PAR lamps with more intense light beams and metal halide lamps with their longer life spell the end of this lamp in retail but it is still a viable lamp for domestic and specialist applications.

Remember dimming a reflector lamp will double the lamp life and reduce running costs!
