Description

A round opal glass pendant for diffused lighting. Great for living spaces, a classic style that is great for many rooms.

With brushed metal detailing on the top and clear flex. If you require you can change the colour of the light by using a coloured lamp and change the opal glass to something very different!

Supplied with a simple cone ceiling rose in white (dia: 83mm x h: 79mm). A ceiling hook is required for fixing. Easily wired into an existing ceiling rose.

Flex suspensions are 1800mm long, this can, of course, be reduced to suit your ceiling height.

Can you tell me if 1800 mm is the length of the cable?
The length of the cable is 1800mm and so the globe is extra. This fitting requires a maximum of 60 watts.

Does this light hang from its own brushed metal bracket?
The ceiling rose this hangs from is constructed from plastic and is coloured white.

how do you replace another light bulb?
The opal globe can be clipped off the brushed silver detailing to allow access to the lamp holder.

How short can the cable be made. I have a ceiling height of only 2.30m.
You could really make it as short as you like, with a ceiling of 2.3m you would be more than fine.

We want to light a double height hall space measuring approx 800 x 2200. We would like two of these at different heights, but need at least 2200 for one light. Can the height be adjusted?
Yes the cable can be adjusted (shortened) when installed however the maximum length of the cable on this light is 1800mm and I note you require at least 2200mm for one. I would suggest you contact a reliable electrician to find out if he/she can lengthen the wire for your requirements.

Is this a closed Globe or does it have an open bottom? Could you give me a good price for 18-25 units?
This pendant is a closed sphere just like the Bauhaus styled original so there is no aperture in the bottom. This globe pendant is often used in commercial spaces. We will provide a project price request under separate cover.

Is this light suitable for use in a bathroom?
This fitting is at most IP20 rated, wich means that it is only suitable for use in the bathroom if it is located outside zones 0,1 & 2 i.e. zone 3 or un-zoned. If you need an explanation of bathroom zones then look here.
