Design and Style
This downlight is intended for ceilings where the fitting itself should disappear once installed. The trimless plaster-in bezel allows the light to sit flush with the finished ceiling surface, leaving no visible edge after filling and painting. A compact cylindrical body houses a deep-set reflector that pulls the light source back from view, helping to control glare and maintain a calm ceiling appearance. Reflector finish options allow the beam to feel softer or more defined while keeping the overall form discreet and architectural.

Usage
Use suits dry interior spaces where visual comfort and a clean ceiling line are important. Typical applications include living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, hotel rooms and circulation areas, as well as commercial environments such as galleries and quiet workspaces. Output level and beam control make this fitting suitable for accent lighting, feature illumination and supplementary ambient light rather than primary room lighting. An IP20 rating limits installation to indoor locations only.

Key Features and Performance
Light output is delivered by an integrated 3 watt LED producing 240 lumens in warm white 3000K with a 36 degree beam angle. Darklight optical control reduces glare by positioning the LED high within the fitting, improving visual comfort when viewed from normal angles. Operation requires a constant current 350mA driver, supplied separately, allowing flexibility when specifying driver type and location. Care should be taken to ensure adequate space above the ceiling void, as larger drivers may not pass through the downlight aperture. Warranty period is five years.

Installation Notes
Installation follows the standard approach used for plaster-in recessed downlights. A hole is cut in the plasterboard and the fitting is inserted from below. The body is secured by fixing through the plasterboard into the perforated wings on the fixture. Once fixed, the gap between the plasterboard and the edge of the bezel is filled and finished as part of the ceiling surface. After painting, the downlight sits flush with the ceiling with no visible trim.
