One of the unfortunate aspects of traditional PIR light fittings is that the sensors tend to affect the styling of the product. However, this wall comes equipped with an option that has a microwave sensor hidden inside for a seamless and stylish look.

This wall light is very versatile, being suitable for wall mounting both horizontally or vertically but also with the ability to be mounted on a ceiling, for example above a door.

Hello, Photos appear to be closed on both ends to keep weather and bugs out. Is that correct? Does the front snap onto back? If not how do you access the bulb? Is the shade glass or plastic? I see that both are mentioned?
The fixture is closed and sealed to IP54, with an opal polycarbonate diffuser inside the aluminium frame. Light comes out the front, and sides. The top and bottom are closed. Hidden stainless steel fixings hold the frame to the back plate. Undo these to change the lamp.

I am looking for a light like this which also has a manual override switch or at least has a twilight function as well so that I can just turn it on and it goes off when it’s light comes on when it’s dark as well as has a PIR function what can you recommend?

This has a 5-year warranty.

Can you set this light to a timer?
The non-sensor light can be set to separate timer.

Is it possible to install it horizontally?
Yes there is no reason as to why this cannot be installed horizontally.

Is the glass clear or frosted?
The glass is flashed opal i.e. opaque

can this be manually overridden to be permanently on?
There is no manual over ride on this fitting, It will only come on when movement is detected.

Which of the E27 ES CFL tubes listed on oyur website is the appropriate one for this fitting?
The maximum wattage is 25w. As long as you select a wattage lower than that it will fit.

The duration and intensity of the detection range can be set by the user during installation, however there is no override option. We also have this fitting without the PIR.
