Can be surface mounted or recessed and is driver-free (mains voltage) making it an easy, space-saving choice. This is now new and improved with CCT switching from 3000K, 4000K and 5000K.

Many LED kitchen lights require a low voltage power supply or driver but these can be wired directly to a mains supply; ideal if you do not have anywhere to locate or hide a power supply.

Each fitting is supplied with 1200mm cable. When recessing a depth of 28mm or more is required.

Guide to choosing your colour temperature when installed:

3000°K warm white to enhance earthy colours browns, reds and yellows and of course wood.

4000°k neutral white and will enhance whites, greys, blues, greens and makes granite worktops pop!

5000°k neutral daylight white and will be good for good crisp illumination and will be close to natural daylight.

These are to replace halogen. If I choose the surface mounted, how many do you suggest for each metre of dark granite counter? As they wire direct to the mains, are they more expensive to run than the ones with drivers? Thanks.
You will get as much light as a halogen under cabinet light as all the light created goes down avoiding losses from a reflector, and no, just because these have a a built in driver on the PCB does not make them less efficient than those using a separate driver.

Are they fire rated?
These are not fire rated.

What bulb type do these take?
These have an integrated LED and do not require a bulb.

Can you use these lights recessed in a display cabinet connected directly to the mains?
Yes, these can be wired directly to the mains.

Are these dimmable?
These are non-dimmable.

I want to install 3 of these under a shelf, wired directly to the mains. Can I wire more than one to the same mains cable, and if so, do I need any sort of connector?
A standard terminal block should suffice.

Can you please confirm that our existing wiring can be attached to the internal terminals on the light unit?
There is no driver, no transformer, just wire it to mains, but you cannot bring twin and earth cable into the light fixture and make the connection inside - there just isn’t room. Each light has has a 2-core trailing flex 120cm long. You can reduce the length of this as required.

Can they be plugged into a mains socket and work off a time switch?
Yes, if that’s a solution you need, they can work as you describe.

Does this need to be earthed?
Yes this fitting is class 1 and does require an earth.

What is the beam angle of these lights?
The beam angle of these fittings is 115 degrees.

I am replacing some under cabinet strip lighting which is wired directly from the mains. Can you confirm that this unit is a direct replacement and is wired directly to the mains, with no need for any transformer unit
Yes, this is mains. Just 230/240v required. No transformers or drivers.
