The remote control features on/off button, 'smooth' for gradual change through the colours, 'flash' for quick change through all the colours, 'light' for selecting one constant colour, brightness button to decrease and increase the light and finally a four hour timer mode allowing you to go to sleep and not worry about turning the light off.
