Can this light be used in conjunction with a dimmer switch?
The lamp this takes (GX53) can not be dimmed.

Does each light require a transformer or are they run straight from the mains via a normal switch as most of these seem to need a transformer (not an expert at all !!).
This fitting uses a self ballasted compact fluorescent lamp which requires a 230v mains voltage feed so no transformer required, just wire it in and away you go.

Is it possible to connect these lights in tandem, ie run the cable from one light to the next?
It certainly is possible to loop-in and loop-out the mains supply on these fittings.

Does this light come with a lamp if so, what wattage and colour (cold or warm white) is it?
This luminaire does not come complete with lamp, however it is designed to take a 9W maximum.

Two questions: Does this light fix to the wall or the cabinet above? Does this light include a wiring pattress and where do the wires enter the light?
This fitting has a bracket that allows it to be fixed either to the wall, the underside of the cabinet or both. There is no trailing lead with the product and you wire into a terminal block inside the fitting. There is no dedicated incoming cable position as the fitting is open to the back.
