Hello does this product need to be recessed into the wall? I am looking for 2 bedroom reading lights that can go onto a hard wall aka NOT recessed. can you please let me know
This fixture is surface mounted and does not need any recess.

Is this product certified for use in Canada? Also what is the length of the adjustable arm?
The arm has a max length of 330mm. This fixture does not have UL approval. It also requires a 230v supply

Can you please tell me is the switch separate to the light I do not fully understand where it is?
There are two versions of this bedside reading light: switched and unswitched. On the switched version of the fitting the switch is on the backing plate, its a small thin black switch.
