Textile Floor Lamp - Cord & Geometric Frame with a Lucienne Day Japanese Style

This unusual and attractive floor lamp uses a woven textile cord over a geometric black steel frame. We feel the designer Santolaria & Lluscait have made a nod to the work of Lucienne Day and has a Japanese-style similar to her work in the late 50s.

The cord, with a crochet/knitted design, is an off-white colour which, when illuminated, has a warm beige tone. The design has these looped and stretched over the framework to create the pleasing, geometric shade.

Ideal for assisting with a Japandi style space, ideal for minimal rooms and would look great in a garden room.

Standing at 90cm high, this fitting provides warmth to a room and illuminates both upwards and beneath the lamp as well as emitting an ambient light through the cord diffuser. Place in dark corners or near a sofa in living spaces to provide beautiful and soft ambient lighting. Install in bedrooms to add a gentle glow or in dining rooms to provide subtle mood lighting.

The flex is black and measures 1.5m with an on/off switch for ease of use.

Designed to be used with an E27 base lamp up to 60 watts, we would suggest a soft lamp is used to give reduced glare.
