Swedish Design and Manufacturer
Product Ref: 5435From £172.00 inc VAT
The Primus II rise and fall pendants are perfect to install above a dining room table or breakfast bar area. A quality range of lighting from a Swedish family-run company. The factory in Varberg, Sweden employs 160 people and undertakes product design, production and quality checking in-house.
The ceiling rose holds the mechanism that allows the pendant to be pulled down to the desired height. When required a gentle push up allows the pendant to be raised out of the way.
Offered here in a choice of colours and finishes; so we are confident there will be one that will suit your decor.
The flex and plastic ceiling rose colour is as shown in the image. The handle is either white, chrome or gold as illustrated.
The minimum drop (including shade and handle) is 690mm and when the fitting is fully extended the total drop from the ceiling is 1590mm.
Designed for use with mains E27 Edison screw lamp (max 60 watts). The lamp is visible so decorative lamps can be used.
Please note that some variants have been discontinued and we have limited stock.

Can the minimum drop from the ceiling be reduced from the 690mm standard?
Does this come in a bushed aluminium finish like the Scandinavian design light pendant does?
I really like the shade but I don't need the rise and fall. Can this shade be attached to a regular UK pendant fitting i.e. can the rise and fall be detached from the shade?
Is the shade metal or plastic?
What is the weight?
What is the minimum and maximum drop for this light please?
What is the colour of the light shown in the main image?
What is the maximum drop from the ceiling?
Is sand grey or cream in tone?
How do you fix the light to stop it continually coming down?
Are the undersides of all the colours in this range white?
Does this work or can be converted to Australian 240 volt?
I am interested in purchasing one of these. I think this is a copy of a Louis Poulsen design by the great Poul Henningsen. I have bought another similar but cheaper version, notably one called Brenda which failed twice because the rise/fall cord was weak and it wore badly. What is the spec for the cord in your pendant which looks much better made
Can you use this above an induction hob on the island?
Please can you let me know if the "sand" shade is white or "sand" on the underside?
Can a Philip hue bulb be fitted or used in this lamp?
What is the the underside colour (inside) of the red shade ?
Our ceiling is quite high (just over 3 metres). Would we be able to see the naked bulb even when the lamp is fully extended?
Do you do wall lights to match the Scandinavian rise and fall pendant light please.
I see the highest position is 690mm from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Can the flex be shortened (so that the bottom of the shade is closer to the ceiling)? If so, is there a maximum amount it can be shortened by?..
How do I mount the ceiling rose to the ceiling rose?
I cannot work out how to change my existing UK light fitting to this one, can you help me?
what is the diameter of the rose fitting?
Can you tell me please when the lamp is raised to its highest position, what the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the pendant is?
What is the minimum height from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade/handle?
I am interested in this light but the ceiling from which it would hang has - at least - a 35 degree slope. Would the rise and fall mechanism still work OK?
I need the extended length to be at 2 meters at least... how do I do that?
Will E26 bulbs fit in the E27 socket? I live in Canada.
What is the height of the lamp? from bottom of handle to the base where the cord starts?
Can this light be fitted with a dimmer switch?
The minimum drop, is that measured from the ceiling to the underneath of the handle?
