Can the light above be install in Zone1 of a bathroom.
We suggest IP44 fixtures are only suitable for zone 2, you should use something with a higher IP rating. Remember the wall inside a shower cubicle is zone 1 and not many electricians or lighting designers would suggest a fixture that only gives protection against splashed water in a shower or above a bath. IP65 or better, and ideally something low voltage, or mains if you use a dedicated RCD. If you wish to discuss your options do get in touch to talk through your needs
