What is the colour please, is it a definite grey or a taupe?
It is a mix between the two. Matt concrete is the name of the finish.

Excellent questions. The wall light is surface mounted, nothing is needed in the wall beside a mains supply. Rainwater does not sit on top, think of this as a concrete tube, open top and bottom and in the middle is a bulb, rain and dripping water just passes through. In actuality the bulb is a sophisticated LED light engine being IP65 with integrated power supply, LED chip and waterproof housing, but the principal discussed above stands.
