Design and Style
This compact wall light shares its construction and materials with the eyelid version in the same European-made cast brass range. The design replaces the upper shield with a front guard, providing added protection for the glass lens in areas where accidental impact may occur. The result is a robust, maritime-inspired fitting suited to both architectural and residential use.

The circular brass body houses a 7 mm thick glass diffuser, acid-etched on the inside to soften the light while remaining smooth on the outer surface for easy cleaning. The guard sits slightly proud of the glass and is secured with four brass screws. This detail enhances durability while adding a subtle industrial character.

Usage
Designed for exterior walls, porches, and passageways, the guarded version offers reliable illumination in both exposed and sheltered locations. It is particularly suited to commercial or coastal properties where long-term corrosion resistance is essential and where extra protection against breakage is beneficial.

The fitting uses a mains-voltage G9 LED lamp, allowing flexibility in output and colour temperature. Cable entry is via the rear, accommodating round flex up to 8 mm in diameter. With an IP64 rating, it is suitable for outdoor use and also works well in damp interior areas such as bathrooms and utility spaces.

This light is available in natural cast brass, nickel-plated brass, and chemically aged patina finishes, matching other fittings in the same range.
