Description

This globular range of exterior wall light is available on either a black or white ABS plastic bracket in black or white and features a clear glass sphere.

The standard versions without sensors and the dusk-'til-dawn versions have the same style of the bracket as the discrete dusk 'til dawn sensor is located on the underside of the bracket.

The version featuring the PIR movement detector has a larger adjustable sensor fitted to the bottom.

As the lamp is exposed in this style of fitting we always suggest the use of a decorative lamp which takes what could be could be a run-of-the-mill fitting into something much more interesting.

The PIR option has a range of 8 metres and a 108° span.

Is this double insulated and plastic please?
This is class 2 and therefore double insulated and is made of polycarbonate.

Hi, I'm interested in the globe wall light with motion sensor. Can you please tell me if the light also has lux setting along with the sensor settings?
Yes, This does have a LUX level setting as well as a PIR settings.

Does the PIR sensor rotate and if so, how far?
This PIR does not rotate, but has a range of 8 metres and a 108° angle detection span.

Is it safe to use a 100w bulb in this?
A 100w bulb be can not be used as the fitting will only accommodate a maximum 60w bulb. If you are looking for a higher light output you could use the E27 LED 12.3w bulb (listed under spare lamps on the specification) this will be an equivalent to a 75w halogen bulb, energy saving and low running costs too.

Does the PIR sensor have manual over-ride for those occasions when the light is required to be on all the time? Also, can this light be mounted on the corner of a building using your listed corner bracket?
Unfortunately this doesn`t have an over ride. The backing plate measures 120mm, so it would fit on the corner bracket.
