I am thinking of using these as wall up-lights on a batten plasterboard wall - at the top to illuminate the exposed truss 30deg pitch ceiling of my garage/garden room (from each wall) - I have 2 questions, 1. what is the beam angle of a standard GU10 LED bulb within the housing, 2. the proposed location is above the wall plate - currently occupied with A1 non-combustible rockwool - I realise I will need to cut out a space in this to create a void for the body of the light housing, but how much clearance should I leave around it for heat dissipation etc?
The suggested void depth is 150mm, most standard gu10 bulbs have a beam angle of 38 degrees.

Can be used for masonery ceiling (no plasterboard ceiling)?
No, these need to to installed into a plasterboard ceiling with a void behind it.

I want to buy and dim 4 of these. Can I use one LED driver for all 4 - if if so which one?
Good news, this fixture uses GU10 base mains lamps, so you don’t need a driver just a mains supply, dimmable LED lamps and a wall dimmer switch.
