Tatou S2 Pendants by Flos

It is always refreshing to see a designer who is prepared to break a few rules and the Tatou range of lighting is one that challenges the concept of plastic being a substandard material.

Designed by Patricia Urquiola for Flos the design gets its French name from the armadillo a flexible, tough creature with overlapping epidermal scales providing armour. The Tatou offers interest, flexibility and clean lines. The interwoven form of the dome diffuses light either upwards or downwards as well as letting light pass through the patterned shell. This will form a great light effect on surrounding walls or the ceiling.

External diffuser is made in polycarbonate as is the internal diffuser which diffuses illumination.

Designed for use with a E27 mains lamp up to a maximum 205 watts.
