Spun Highly-Polished Silver Light Pendant

This pendant was designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1961 and used in their Splügen Bräu Bar.

It uses the skill of metal spinners to create the beehive look in polished aluminium which is repeated on the inside. This ceiling hanging pendant provides direct lighting and hangs from a simple ABS ceiling fixture. The flex is 2200mm long and can be shortened at the time of installation.

The aluminium Polished and protected with transparent paint, spun aluminium reflector. Steel ceiling fitting, vacuum-formed ABS rose with gloss white finish.

Net weight 1.5kg.

Looks best when used with a crown silver lamp (max 70w)
