Whilst we all hope summer is here to stay we have to make the most of what the good old British weather throws at us.  If there is one thing that signals summer it is festoon lighting, everyone has fond memories of a pub garden with pretty lighting.  The Harlequin lamp festoon kits have been around for some time and are still as popular as ever.  This new festoon kit is a more contemporary energy saving alternative which is available in three great colours - black, white or pink power flex with matching coloured lamp holders.

Unlike some festoon lights this coloured cable LED option gives out virtually no heat making them suitable for indoors.  You can be safe knowing that children or customers (in a commercial environment) will be safe touching these.  Ideal for inside shop windows, pub garden's and children's play areas - just a few of the locations we recommend.

For the first time with festoon party lights you have the option of purchasing separate decorative shades which can be added to each lamp to create a really pretty and unusual festoon.  The pleated shades are available in four colours, white, black, pink and blue. You can colour match the flex with your shades or mix them up to create a candy coloured lighting display! If you use the pink shades on the black cable they really stand out. These shades are constructed from silicone and have a diameter of 200mm.

There is also the option to purchase three types of wire shade (see photograph) which again make for a very interesting lighting string.  Great for tea rooms, restaurants, summer houses, marques, the list is endless.

The festoon kit is IP44 rated providing protection from splashed water and making them suitable for use in interiors and exteriors.  The waterproof rubber cable and lamp holder means these festoons are built to withstand the best, and worst, the British weather throws at them.

Super easy to install and supplied with a transformer and UK plug.

Supplied with 14m of cable which has 10 lamps holders.  Each lamp has a 0.48w warm white LED lamp inside.  Each lamp holder has two holes either side allowing you to fix the lamp in place, so great for mounting on walls or ceilings and ensuring they stay put. No need to just throw them over something!
