This is a stand-alone passive infra-red sensor for indoor or outdoor use. This motion detector works according to passive infra-red technology. The detector will switch on the connected lights when it registers 'warm movements' within it's detecting range, and if dark enough. The built-in photocell prevents the detector from working in the daytime.

Illumination time and daylight (lux) setting is adjustable to suit various locations. The sensor head can also be tilted down 35º from vertical and rotated 45º to the left or right.

Maximum lighting load 1200w (incandescent) or 300w (fluorescent).

Designed for wall mounting complete with fixing screws and rawlplugs.

This PIR 180º features adjustable lux level, 12 metre range, 180º detection zone, time on adjustable 10 sec to 7 min.

I live in a exposed position,is this PIR fully waterproof
Being IP44 makes this water resistant to splashed water from any direction. Only if you regularly have wind driven rain should you require a higher IP rating.

Would I be able to add this to a decking light set? Therefore allowing decking lights to come on when movement is registered or will this only work for security lamps?
This PIR can be used for switching on a number of items and would be suitable for switching on your deck lights. However please note the PIR should be installed onto the primary side of the power supply i.e. Mains Switch - PIR - LED Power Supply - LED heads. It cannot be used to switch the DC side of the power supply.

Can it be wired into 2 lights?
This can be wired into 2 lights, as long as you don`t go over the maximum load.
